Long Beach Polar Bears 2010

Today me, my wife Laura, my sons Steven & Christopher and our  friend Kristen headed down to Long Beach NY to take part in the Polar Bear Plunge. This is an annual event that raises money for the Make A Wish Foundation. This is the 10th year of the event. To date the event has raised 1.6 million dollars. It was real windy today. The temp was in the mid 30's with a wind chill of about 15. The water was 36 degrees. I would have to say the plunge was no where nearly as bad as standing on the beach afterwards. I couldnt feel my toes Here are some pics
